Welcome!
Hi, I'm Amelia and Welcome to Sustain SA!
Sustain SA was created for the vintage lovers, sustainable supporters and people who want all things fashion.

Ever since I was a little girl I have always had a love for fashion. Along with my love for fashion is my love for all things vintage! I can confidently say my wardrobe contains a LOT of pieces my parents used to wear back in the 80s!
​
In recent years I have become more aware of the fast-fashion culture that is present within our society and the negative impact it has on our environment. Because of this, I wanted to find a way to stop my consumption of these fast fashion products or at least slow the process down, and hope others would too.
​
So with my passion for journalism and love of vintage fashion, I thought... why not combine the two and start a blog!

That's when Sustain SA came into the picture!
This blog is designed to showcase vintage and sustainable clothing stores around Adelaide and South Australia which sell clothing that has been reworked, rejuvenated or simply being re-sold. I hope to shed some light on what you can do to stop fast fashion culture, whilst looking groovy in the process!
